David Scott

  • David grew up in the Seattle area where he attended North Seattle Alliance Church. He attended Biola and Trinity Western University, graduating with a BA in Biblical Studies and a minor in history. He earned his MA in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary, and his M.Div. at Westminster Theological Seminary. David and his wife, Sara, have four kids aged 17 to 23. In 2001, David was ordained at Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he served as associate pastor before coming on staff at Faith Presb in 2007, in preparation for planting our church.

Abigail Gross

  • Abi and husband Jon have 4 children. Being raised in the PNW, they love the beauty of Washington with the mountains and oceans all around. Abi attended Whatcom Community College, obtaining a degree in Office Administration, which led her to work in insurance. After working in insurance for 9 years, she joined us in 2023 as our church administrator.

Denise Postma

  • After graduating from Dordt College, Denise moved from her childhood home near Ireton, IA, to Hanford, CA. While living in California, she served as Worship Coordinator for the Hanford CRC for over 12 years. In October 2016, she moved to Puyallup and began serving as Music Director at RPC one year later. Denise also works as a paraeducator for the Puyallup School District. She enjoys spending time with family, cross-stitching, gardening, going for walks, and appreciating the beauty of the Pacific NW.

John Galle

  • John is a native Minnesotan who came to know Christ at the age of 18. Attending Bible college in California, he met his wife, Linda, and together they moved to Washington state in 1978. John has retired after a varied career as a teacher, police officer, and city manager. John and his wife Linda have worshipped at RPC since 2014 and are both actively involved in teaching the children of the church.

Doug King

  • Doug is a native of Pennsylvania but has lived in the PNW for over thirty years. He came to know Christ in high school, then came to a reformed understanding in medical school while attending Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. Doug and Margie have three adult sons and are founding members of RPC. In 2007 the church had its organization meeting and first few months of services in their house. Doug is a retired surgeon. His life experience can be condensed to “the LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all His works.” (Ps 147:17)

J Frank Spears

  • Frank grew up in the south and has lived in the Pacific NW for over 45 years. He served in the Army after which he attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage where he received a BS in Civil Engineering. He and his wife Janet are among the founding members of RPC. They have six adult children and many grandchildren they enjoy in retirement.

Scott Jensen

  • Scott grew up in Parkland and attended Washington High School. He and his wife, Beth, have one daughter, Allison. Scott is self-employed at his plant nursery and hobbies include running, gardening and reading. He is a life-long Christian and has been with RPC from the beginning. Scott loves RPC for the people, the preaching and community groups.

Tim Vander Pol

  • Tim was born and raised in Shoreline, WA. He began serving as a deacon at Faith Presbyterian Church (PCA) before joining RPC when it was planted. While attending RPC, he assumed diaconal responsibilities before being elected as one of RPC’s original deacons. In 2025, Tim was ordained as an elder. Tim and his wife, Sharletta, are blessed with eight children. Tim is the President and Chief Steward of Peninsula Truck Lines.

Greg Baggenstos

  • Greg and his wife, Bethany, are blessed with 5 adult children and 10 grandchildren. After moving to Minnesota in 1987 for a job transfer, the Lord saved them both in 1988 through Christian radio. They have lived in south King County since 1996. Greg enjoys running, hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. He and his son, Zach, are in business together assisting families in managing their financial and personal life goals.

Troy Wisdom

  • Troy was one of the founding elders of Resurrection back in 2009. He and his wife Diane have three adult children and five grandchildren.
